2011 January Reading List

A Feast of Crows by George R. R. Martin - After the first three books in the series that were almost 5 stars material, this one was very disappointing. 3/5 stars

The Terracotta Dog, Excursion to Tindari, The Snack Thief by Andrea Camilleri – I just love the entire Montalbano series. Too bad there’s not more of it translated here. 4/5 stars


Star grading system:
1 star - you won't find any so it doesn't matter
2 stars - waste of time or unfinished book or both
3 stars - you won't be sorry for reading it but you can just as well live without it
4 stars - it brings something special into your life
5 stars - brilliant, damn near perfect

Romanian Steampunk Anthology

Romanian steampunk? What's that? Well, we're about to find out. It will be published by Millennium Books and the editor has already announced the contributing writers: Oliviu Craznic, Stefana Czeller, Costi Gurgu, George Lazar, Florin Pitea, Mircea Oprita, Marian Truta and yours truly. :) I'm looking forward to discover what the other texts are about and I can't wait to see the cover art. :D
